Jaime L. Foster

On Saturday, August 14, 2004 Firefighter Jaime Foster was among Los Angeles City Fire Department members who responded to a structure fire. Following extinguishment, as crews were leaving the fire, Firefighter Foster was involved in a fatal vehicle accident near the scene. After receiving her nursing and paramedic licenses, Jaime Foster fulfilled her dream to become a firefighter in May 2004. Just a few months on the job, Firefighter Foster is the Los Angeles City Fire Department’s first female firefighter to fall in the line of duty
