Zuliani.Paul.Daniel_Photo RESIZEDAfter fighting a lengthy and painful battle with occupational cancer, Paul Zuliani passed away on February 23, 2006. Employed by the Los Angeles County Fire Department for over three decades, Paul spent most his career assigned to fireboat duty at Station 49, located in the Los Angeles Harbor. Friends and family members remember Paul as a loving father and husband, and a man of great dedication. He met his wife, Barbara, when they both were in kindergarten. After decades of deep friendship, their lives blossomed in to romance. And after completing service in the U.S Navy, Paul and Barbara were married and soon became proud parents to three beautiful daughters and a son. It is said that as long as there is a Fire Station 49 in the Harbor of San Pedro, the name of Paul Zuliani will be remembered there with respect, love and reverence
