Alison Greene was a firefighter by profession, but her passion was teaching í__ and learning. Hired in San Francisco in 1993, Greene earned commendation in 2001 for her service in a mass casualty event. When she wasn’t on the job, she was encouraging others to follow their own dreams. Alison served as a director for Camp Blaze, a Seattle facility that helps guide young women toward a fire service career. Her death from job-related cancer left behind memories of “a creative inspirer pushing our limits with ideas.”
