Known for his charismatic contagious smile and his passion for the job, 34-year-old Arnie Quinones gave his life trying to rescue dozens of others during the 2009 Station Fire. An eightyear veteran of the Los Angeles County Fire Department, Arnie was a rising star, dedicated to his duty and his country. He was only weeks away from meeting his first child – Sophia – at the time of his death. Brother Quinones lived í__ and died í__ upholding a firefighter’s simple motto: “First in, last out.”
