Steven Wass received his pilot’s license at the age of 16 and began filling tankers at the Minden Aiport in his quest to become a tanker pilot. By the time he became Captain, he had been a tanker pilot for 23 years and at one time was the youngest pilot to make that promotion. Steve was also an accomplished drummer and guitarist, as well as an avid gun collector. He is survived by his parents Chet and Janet Wass.
